Einsteinium

Einsteinium is a radioactive actinide metal that was named after a famous scientist, Albert Einstein. 

Discovery 

Einsteinium was discovered in 1952 by Albert Ghiroso. He and a group of scientists were exploring the debris from the first hydrogen bomb explosion, and found it. They brought it back to their lab in Argonne, Los Alamos, USA, in the university of California at Berkley, USA. Then they named it after the famous scientist, Albert Einstein.
